Gandana Mane sees Shivaraj Kumar in the role of a bus conductor. B A Madhu, better known for his tearjerkers, has scripted this sentimental flick.
Delhi-based Gauri Munjal, who has already acted in two Kannada films -- Namma Basava with Puneet Raj Kumar and Gopi with Murali -- is the heroine.
Shivaraj Kumar says he was reminded of his college days while shooting for the film. "As a college student in Madras, I used to travel by bus to college," he says. "I used to closely observe the way bus conductors behaved. As I was a good mimic, I'd imitate them making my friends laugh. I have used some of it now in this film."
Now, the Kannada film industry is praying for a repeat of 2004 and 2005!
