Does Sajid ever get serious, as a director? It's hard to picture him serious.
This film is a combination of sensitivity and humour. And I mean it when I say sensitivity. I also think families are going to enjoy this film, from kids to grandparents, because there's a lot of old-school humour. And today people love slapstick comedy, and for me, it's been a long time since I've played slapstick; most of my recent efforts have been in situational comedy, so I'm looking forward to this.
For me, Sajid Khan is the captain of our ship Heyy Babyy, and as long as the ship doesn't end up being the Titanic, that's all that matters.
It's been 10 years since we've seen you and Shah Rukh on screen. How's that been? Also, now you're both superstars, so is there any one-upmanship on the sets?
Whoa, yeah. Ten years since Dil Toh Pagal Hai. Nothing has changed, boys are still boys. He's still hyperactive and gives his hundred percent to each shot.
And no, there's no one-upmanship. We're both guys coming from Delhi without any film background.
