The head of Springfield's Mafia, Fat Tony is cobbled together from Godfather and Sopranos stereotypes. A hilariously inventive and macabre Don to the Stracci family, he is ironically very rarely responsible for any of the town's real problems -- of course, that could be because the Mafia's misdeeds are legitimised to the point of acceptability.
