Neerad directs Mammootty in Big B

Coming back to Big B, the movie also marks the debut for several other technicians including the cinematographer and editor. Plus a major chunk of the crew was made up of youngsters. Do you think this has benefited the project?

The average age of the Big B crew will be around 28. It was a very young and vibrant team. The movie is very fast paced and does not have even a single instance where characters indulge in verbal diarrhea and bore the audience.

Big B has been given a slick and suave look using Digital Intermediate Technology (the movie is digitised and then colour corrected). We have also ensured that this slickness is carried across to the audience right from the poster promotion stage itself.

The major opposition for Big B at the box office is from Mohanlal's Chota Mumbai, directed by your college mate Anwar Rashid. And Chota Mumbai is also set in Fort Kochi.

Both the movies deal with entirely different topics. I have full confidence in Big B turning to be a big success. Anwar Rasheed is one of my closest friends, in fact we go back a long time and I wish him all the best for his movie.
