I take the story and work on it with the director. By watching films, I see what the audience wants and take the good and bad points and work on the script.

You have encouraged young directors like Bhaskar and Sukumar. You are going to introduce Vamsi. How do you identify the talent in people?

All these people were associate directors of my films. I see their talent and involvement from the script stage. I observe their inputs. I am introducing Vasu next year. Filmmaking is a team effort. There is no hierarchy on the sets. I sit with the directors and the others and we work together.
