Filmi Awards with a Desperate Housewife

The ninth edition of the Bollywood Music Awards, instituted by Kamal Dandona, had a predictable air. For, by now, it is common knowledge that every major participant wins an award or two.
Only three people who weren't attending the show received major awards: Asha Bhosle for her Cha Cha Cha song, Himesh Reshammiya for the music of Aashiq Banaya Aapne, and Sunidhi Chauhan for the number Kaisi Paheli in Parineeta.
