Nagarjuna on Sri Ramadasu

You have always taken the lead in setting a trend - be it in your style of dressing, the look in your films or the kind of roles you play...

I think that, as far as trends go, I absorb what I see on the road or in magazines, or in some movie or when I go abroad. If I see something that suits me, I go for it. I always like trying something new. I am sure people don't want to see the same face and clothes over and over again in every film. When people ask me what my favourite perfume is or who my favourite actor is, I cannot pick one. It keeps changing - there are so many nice things, why should I get stuck with one?

Could you talk about the untitled film you are acting in, the one directed by V N Aditya?

Other than Ramadasu, films like Super, Mass and Nenunnanu were all a little action-oriented. Films like Santosham and Manmadhudu are close to my heart. I like feel-good movies filled with entertainment and laughter, and wanted to do a film in that genre. So, my latest film is in that genre -- a breezy, romantic story between a boss and his secretary.
