P C Sreeram: Ready for Bollywood
What makes PC happy is that cinema is no longer the most important thing
for the Indian audience. "There is IT, economics, business.. and people associated with all these fields make news. Film people are just one more in this big group of people making news. India has never seen such a healthy trend before."
The Thiruda Thiruda cinematographer feels this change in attitude is the reason why a 64-year old Bachchan is flooded with film offers. "The way scripts are written has changed. Actors like Anthony Hopkins, Robert de Nero, etc. get a variety of scripts in Hollywood. It has started happening in India too. I would say Amitabh Bachchan is having the best time of his career. He has never had it so good."
