Her life so far: She is a divorced single mom with a 14-year old daughter named Julie. That new plumber Mike Delfino has caught her fancy after Susan's husband Carl Mayer ran away with his secretary. Mike's reluctance to talk about his past, combined with her uncontrollable curiosity, has gotten her into many awkward situations.

Susan works as an artist for children's books and has a knack of getting into trouble. When Mary Alice killed herself, Susan found herself obsessed with the mystery and was desperate to solve it, which lead to her kitchen blowing up at the hands of Zach. Julie seeing Zach is a sure fire method of getting Susan angry. And although Julie is her daughter, she gives her paternal advice on all life's problems!

What to look out for in Season 2: Carl begins to date Edie, and Edie's new role in Julie's life makes Susan uncomfortable; watch out for some super hot action between the ladies. Mike and Susan's relationship might deteriorate further, and Susan's mom is expected to join her back, to make things worse. Susan will also learn more about her parentage, particularly about her father, which will be very disturbing to her.

With Zach back in the picture because of Mike, and because of his wish to get back with Julie, Susan might have to take matters in her own hand. After getting over Mike and some real bad dates, Susan finds a very nice guy who just might be Mr Right!
