The reason that this, a Bond film, isn't tussling with Superman for the title of the biggest 2006 movie is just that there's no girl. Yet.

Every woman from Angelina Jolie to Charlize Theron to Sienna Miller has turned down the Bond girl role -- possibly after reviewing Oscar-winner Halle Berry's career post-Die Another Day -- leaving the secret agent in a fix.

But we liked Danny in Layer Cake. And we'll wait for this film.

Because it's Bond. James Bond. And we're gullible folks who'll lap that up any way it's served.
