Special: Best & Worst of 2005

Here's a quick look at 2006's most anticipated releases:

Rang De Basanti

Director: Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra
Starring: Aamir Khan, Alice Payton, Soha Ali Khan, Madhavan

Why we hope: All of India is praying that Mangal Pandey was just an anomaly and that the most loved actor hasn't really lost track.

The youthful film should be a bit of a stretch for the 40-year-old, but he's done the college boy routine convincingly with Dil Chahta Hai, and should be able to pull it off again. Also, Mehra's Aks, while rather confusing at times, had some seriously cool moments. We aren't sure what to expect with his new film, but we're waiting, nevertheless.
