Lilly was discovered by a Ford modelling agent four years ago. She was offered a job, but turned it down in favour of a stint in international relations. When she started studying at the University of British Columbia six months later, she turned to Ford's offer once more, to help pay for her tuition.

One of her first roles, strangely enough, was that of a corpse, in an episode of Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital. After playing a corpse again, in The Long Weekend, she was understandably not too keen on acting much longer.

She appears to have changed her mind with Lost, and is set to attract a great deal of attention.
