"But if you see my film, it's different. We have shown underwater effects and magical things in the film which are very unique," adds Samant.

Animated films do not have a good track record at the Indian box office. So far, The Lion King was the biggest grosser for the genre, believed to have generated more than Rs 20 million.

Other animated films like The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Shrek 1 & 2 and A Shark's Tale couldn't really amass box-office fortunes here.

Here's hoping Hanuman changes the history of animated films in India.
