Samant is delighted at the completion of his labour of love. "I am happy that this film is finally being released. We have put on lot of effort to make it. I want more and more people to know about Lord Hanuman."

Samant was with the Films Division of India earlier. His Tree Of Unity cartoon is still remembered by many. His CV boasts of a 160 films.

About the animated Ramayan flopping badly, Samant explains, "The problem was that they dubbed Arun Govil's voice as Ram. Not only that, they dubbed all the voices from the characters in the famous serial, Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan. So when people went to see the animated Ramayan, they could not relate to the film, because the voice wasn't in synch with the sketches."
