Actresses Nandita Das and Mallika Sherawat are also at Cannes this year.

Nandita is on the jury, along with Hollywood actor Salma Hayek, Spanish actor Javier Bardem, Nobel Laureate Toni Morrison, Hollywood director John Woo, Sarajevo director Emir Kusturica (the jury president), and French directors Agnes Varda and Benoit Jacquot.

Mallika is at the festival to promote her international film with Jackie Chan, The Myth.
