Denzil Smith

I play a corrupt IAS officer, Dwivedi, who impersonates (Jawaharlal) Nehru in the tableau. It is a political satire. But the censors have cut some of my good scenes.

The movie is from the common man's point of view. People should be able to identify with the characters.

The Marathi play was a hit, so I think this (the movie) should do well too. The director has invested his own money in the film. It is a great comment on our situation, and all the ills present in Indian society.
