She believes she has what it takes to shine, and points out that leading ladies nowadays need more than just looks. "Heroines today have to do comedy, dance and they have to be the vamp and the heroine, all in one. One must be a complete woman!"
She refuses to do music videos because they are only "skin shows." Ask her if that attitude would affect her aspiration to act in the West, and she disagrees. "There, everything is in the contract," she says. "They even write the amount of skin you are required to show, in inches. So I will do what I think I can."
And just how far is she willing to go? "I will never do nudity! If you show everything, what else is there to show? I have my principles and will never do anything that go against them."
Marriage plans? The Libran lass laughs, disarming you. She says career comes first.
She has not yet made too many friends in the film industry, but she giggles while recalling a chance encounter with Amitabh Bachchan a few years ago. "Charming," is her description of the Big B.
