How did you get the role?
After watching Chandni Bar, I'd told Madhur I would love to work with him. When Page 3 was planned, he called me and described the role, and I agreed. Page 3 is a total contrast to what he did in Chandni Bar, about a different end of society, and that's what is interesting.
My Character:
Rohit Kumar is an actor, a big-time star who is humble and down to earth. He's a very caring person, and dedicated to his craft. He is concerned about co-actors. But a situation arises in the movie and you see him reacting differently. So what you see isn't quite what you get, because of that one situation.
I didn't have to do much homework but yes, I couldn't relate to the other side of the character's personality so I had to ask Madhur a lot about how he visualised the character. I have tried to give hundred percent.
