Apoorva Lakhia may not have got it right with his Abhishek Bachchan-starrer Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost, but he's back with yet another film. And this time with Bachchan Sr.

Ek Ajnabee is a thriller, and has been shot entirely in Bangkok.

Leading lady Perizaad Zorabian still can't get over the fact that she gets to share frames with Big B.

"I didn't think in my wildest dreams that I would work with Amitabh Bachchan!" she exclaims. "I had resigned myself to being an offbeat actress. Mr Bachchan totally lived up to my expectations. He's this legend, this superstar, but yet so diligent and focused. He's an actor who's continually trying to strive for excellence, whether he's a doting father in Viruddh, or a shepherd in Paheli or rapping in Bunty Aur Bunty."

Also starring in the film is Arjun Rampal.

Perizaad refuses to reveal the story, but lets us in one of her favourite scenes in the film.

"It was a huge emotional scene with Amitabh and me," she says. "We were dealing with sorrow in our own ways. He was sitting somewhere, and I was just supposed to enter the room in that shot. My dialogues would be in another shot. But the moment was so good, so magical that Apu (Lakhia) told me to pull it and say my dialogues as well. So I did. It was a magical scene," she says.

Ek Ajnabee is slated for a November 18 release.
