King of Bollywood, says Om Puri, "has a wonderful script and is very well written. It is a film within a film -- a narrative with an element of documentary where different people like a journalist, a choreographer will be talking about this man."
"It might -- like Ardh Satya became a turning point in my career," he says. "King may become a turning point in the sense that maybe commercial producers will start thinking of using comedians like Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever as central characters in the films like it used to happen in Mehmoodsaab's time."
"Mehmoodsaab was virtually like a hero. I have great respect for Johnny Lever. He is not just a comedian, it's just that industry tends to typecast actors and not use the full potential."
On his new challenge, the singing and dancing one, both Puri and Jha are more than pleased. "I would have done a much better job of singing and dancing except that my back was really troubling me."
Watch out Hrithik!
And all of you out there -- are you ready for the King?
