I am a performer. I can't stick to a particular role. I have to diversify. That's why I am doing more comedy now. I cannot do a film like Girlfriend every day.

If I do Khallas or Girlfriend kind of roles, it will get very boring. I want to try different roles and feel satisfied as an actress.

I am happy I rewrote the industry's rules after doing Girlfriend!

But I was hurt with the controversy it generated. I am not the kind of person who wants people to be upset. We talk of going global. We talk of going to Hollywood. But a section of people can't even accept a film like Girlfriend.
