Manmadan:

Silambarasan, writing the story, screenplay and dialogues for his latest film Manmadan, casts himself as the 'Manmadan' (God of Love) in the film with dozens of girls swooning over him in all the stills released to the press. He has proudly announced that throughout the film he is surrounded by beautiful girls! He said some time back that Kamal Haasan's Manmada Leelai was one of his favourite films, and that he had been eagerly waiting for a similar story all along! The long wait ended with Manmadan.

The film has generated a lot of interest from the day the shooting started mainly because Silambarasan convinced Mandira Bedi, who was not so keen on acting in a South Indian film, to act in it. She had earlier refused a Tamil film offered by Parthipan.

Then he roped in Yana Gupta for a song sequence, followed by over a dozen models from Mumbai. And yes, the film also has a heroine in Jyothika.
