Rajkumar Santoshi saw my work in Agnisakshi. He felt my movements were different. So he gave me the song to choreograph.

I shot Marare in seven days. I tried to create something new.

In most dance sequences, some dancers come from one side of the frame and some from the other. But I did a 'straight composition.' All the dancers faced the camera and performed on a stage.

It was something new in Bollywood choreography at that time.

I also included a hip-hop section, so if you see the number now, it will still look fresh.
