Kareena plays: Poo, short for Pooja. She was Hrithik's love interest and Kajol's sister. Despite competition from a stellar star cast, Kareena's glamorous avatar-with-an-attitude became very popular. When she wasn't teasing Hrithik, she was trying to bring together his parents and estranged brother, played by Shah Rukh.

Trivia: After this film, Kareena was offered the Johars' next production, Kal Ho Naa Ho. Kareena quoted such a high price that Karan was forced to drop her. Their relationship strained, but the two have apparently patched up now.
