Samir narrated the script when we met for the first time. I liked it and felt I should be a part of the film. Kyun! Ho Gaya Na... is funny and I wanted to do a comedy. I had done a bit of comedy in films like Josh, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Hum Kisise Kam Nahin.

"My character, Dia, believes in the concept that no woman should marry a person unless she knows him. It is a fun character and the film has a lot of comic moments.

"It is very difficult to make people laugh. I feel it is difficult to make a normal situation comical.

"I have a good sense of humour. If you see my pictures, I am laughing all the time. But that does not mean I'm flippant. Please note: I am not flippant!"
