Ghar (1978)

Ghar was Rekha's first film with Vinod Mehra. She played a happily married woman who gets raped later. Her husband is understanding, but she is traumatised.

This Gulzar film was very sensitively and realistically handled and did fairly well. With this film, the audience witnessed a mature side of Rekha.

One of Rekha's first boyfriends was Mehra, whom she affectionately called Vin Vin. The pair went on to do quite a few films together like Elaan, Hawas, Chehre Pe Chehra, Saajan Ki Saheli, Aurat Aurat Aurat and many more.
