Shah Rukh Khan: In Persians... in Persian, Shah means king or prince and Rukh means the face... rukhsaar. So it means actually a princelike face. Some people tell me -- some Urdu speaking people and Persian people -- they say like... it is, it is the way of the princes. How the prince behave, how the way to take. Because Rukh could be taken as that. My father used to say it is actually a derivative of rukhsaar, face. We name you because it was a prince like face.

Shah Rukh Khan: I can't express enough gratefulness and I don't know who I should express that gratefulness to -- whether it should be to God for putting me in a position like this, because it can't be any human being who's done it. While, technically speaking, being adored by millions or thousands of Indians is what has made me actually what I am. But I don't think they will feel jealous if I say that I first of all thank God and show my gratefulness. And second of all, I... I must have done something nice because so many people at the same time, in the same place can't like the same person. I must have done something right. That feels wonderful. I mean, I think I'm blessed and I hope I always use it for... you know, I... I don't misuse the fact that I'm loved by so many people. And I am able to something at the end of my... uhh... life which would not let all this be lost. Which will not make it... belittle the fact that so many people at a certain point of time liked me so much.

Shah Rukh Khan: Yes, I think so. I think greed is a very positive word. And when I say greed I don't mean in the sense that everybody uses it, just for money. I think greed of knowledge and greed of... uh... uh... thinking new things, of dreaming new dreams... And I think... and I think dream... dreams... dreams happen because of greed, you know... In real life, when you can't do certain things, then you dream about them. And there is nothing wrong in dreaming and wanting them to turn into reality. There is nothing wrong in being ambitious, there is nothing wrong in... uh... chasing your dreams. When, when, when you stop doing that, everything stops. I mean, like, for me, like one of the questions that everyone asks is what... what keeps you going? I said I sleep very well. And... uh... I don't dream actually. In real life, I've never been able to dream. I... I never get dreams. But I wake up and I dream. And I just run after my dreams. I just decide, ok, this dream that I saw last night or this morning, I will try and make it real.

Shah Rukh Khan: No, my kind of a film is something like... you know, when I say my kind of a film it does not mean that I don't like doing that film or I didn't enjoy the process of making that film. It is like, I like Pulp Fiction. I like... uhhh... Usual Suspects. I like... uhhh... amongst love stories, I like... uh... Untamed Heart. I like... uhhh... there are a lot of films that I like which are little different, you know. I... I... I like... uh... Con Air, I like... uh... completely commerical James Bond films. I love James Bond films. So, for me, it's like... it's not the kind of film that perhaps I... I... I think it's a very good film. I really enjoyed watching the film. I really enjoyed more doing the film than watching it. But if I was given a choice and I was acting in the film... if I was given a choice between, say, uh... a... a... a Con Air, or... or, say, An Affair To Remember. Or, say Dr Zhivago and.. uh... Saving Private Ryan. I'd... I'd tilt in the favour of Saving Private Ryan. Or Con Air. Uh... I don't know. I... I can't describe it. But my kind of films are a little more action oriented, comic-oriented. Austin Powers. I... I'd tilt in the favour of those kind of films.
