Shah Rukh Khan: I'm not belitting anybody, but I normally act with directors. For me what is important is that I should act with directors. Actors and actresses are not really... I mean, they are chosen by the directors. If there is a script somebody comes up with and says, ok, you do a film with Govinda... I know I would learn a lot of comedy from him. I feel, I think he is one of the most brilliant actors in our country, of our era actually, and I think it would be wonderful to work with him. But, so far, nobody has approached me with that kind of subject or said anything about that.

Shah Rukh Khan: Uh... If I am correct, Kajol was married when Kuch Kuch Hota Hai released. Yeah, she was married at that time. Chemistry is... you know, on-screen chemistry does not honestly mean an off-screen chemistry also. I have done, I would do love scenes, romantic scenes with any girl and make sure that it happens. It's just that how comfortable we are with each other. Kajol and me sort of started off together, our careers, you know. We are contemporaries, absolute contemporaries. So we honestly had a lot of, you know, growing together to do as actors. Say Madhuri and Juhi were already established when I worked with them. So I was always, I've always been in awe of them. With Kajol, I've always been... matlab, I have a different kind of respect for all three. For Madhuri and Juhi, I do think of them as someone, if they tell me something, I would do it. With Kajol, if Kajol says something to me, I'll say shut up, rubbish! So I guess that comes across in terms of the comfort we have with each other. We've grown together, we have seen the ups and downs together. As a matter of fact, God has been very fortunate. In our films, we've only seen ups. So I think whenever we've come together, we're coming with a very positive attitude of, look, we did this together, we can only make it better now. So I think the insecurity is not there. As for marriage, I'm married, she's married and it's wonderful. She must be happily married.

Shah Rukh Khan: I... I think he is the number one actor of India and... I know there have been opinion polls which declared me as the sexiest man in the country at times. I find that quite strange. And I think everybody has a right to an opinion and if somebody thinks... I... I think, if I was given to vote, I would also perhaps put him in the category of one of the better actors in the country. I... I really don't know how to answer that because opinion poll by Outlook is different, by somebody else is different. With due respect to each, I don't think... For me, you can't compare actors. That is what I believe. And it's not because I was not being rated at the No 1 actor by this magazine, I would be rated by some other magazine. But the point is you can't compare actors. It's like trying to compare tamatar with aloo and say I like... but I like gobi better. They're all... I mean, pineapple, whatever. I mean they're all in their own place very good and excellent. Everyone has their qualities whether it's vitamin B or C or D or A. And each one to their own. I don't think actors... comparing actors is like... I don't know why people don't compare, you know, artists. Can you really categorically sit down and say Picasso is better than artist than Vincino because each one is doing their thing. Each one is.. has their own level of performance. And I think, personally if you ask me, I think Aamir is a very good actor. And... I mean, there's no opinion... I... I would not participate in an opinion of any magazine really, for acting. I mean, like, that is my opinion of an opinion poll by any magazine.

I have a little child of my own. Her name is Karisma. She underwent a major surgery of her hip in Dec '98 when she was only 7 months old.
She is a perfect little kid who is running around with those tiny feet tearing the house apart. :-)
She taught us one very important thing in life: That no matter how difficult or dire the situation, persevance and reliazation of one's strength
ensures that you are a winner . Even though she was in great pain many a times, she made the effort to crawl around and play and smile.
We are very proud of my child. :-)
