How do you generate revenue out of Lexulous? Could you share with us the turnover of RJ Softwares?
Unfortunately, we cannot disclose details like revenue, turnover, profit figures.
Please tell us about your legal tussle with Hasbro.
The lawsuit filed by Hasbro in New York in July of this year was withdrawn in December.
The version of Lexulous currently available to users on Facebook is a 100 per cent legal version.
The matter with Mattel is still before the high court after Mattel chose to appeal.
Are you happy with the outcome?
We are very pleased with how things have turned out. Lexulous is now available to users from all over the world and they can play with any of their friends regardless of the country they are based in.
Since Lexulous was activated, more than 60,000 users have already begun using the application actively.
As for the legal suit, why did Hasbro object? Why did Facebook take it off?
In July 2008, Hasbro filed a suit against us in New York courts, alleging that the Scrabulous was a 'clear and blatant infringement' of their intellectual property.
Hasbro owns the rights to Scrabble in North America, while Mattel owns the rights everywhere else.
As a direct fallout of the suit, we issued a statement: 'In deference to Facebook's concerns and without prejudice to our legal rights, we have had to restrict our fans in the US and Canada from accessing the Scrabulous application on Facebook until further notice.'
This was an unfortunate event and not something that we are very pleased about, especially as Mattel has been pursuing the matter in Indian courts for sometime.
