Rupee weak in morning trade

The Indian rupee on Wednesday fell by 37 paise against the greenback in early trade on heavy dollar buying by banks and pick-up in demand from importers amid weak Asian equity markets.
At the Interbank Foreign Exchange (forex) market, the domestic unit, which plunged 73 paise yesterday, depreciated by another 37 paise at 48.48 against the US currency.
