How many films do you plan to make?
We want to start with two movies first. I am also talking to television companies to make serials on different formats. 12 months from now, there will be Chandamama on TV platform.
Our plan is to reach Chandamama to the largest number of Indians through various platforms.
You are also planning to come out with a Chandamama coffee table book. What is it actually?
The idea is to celebrate 60 years of Chandamama. We have pictures from 1947 - how the letter press was done. We have 4 sections of stories. The foreword is by Manoj Das. It will be a collector's book and will be out next month. It is both for the Indian and the overseas market.
That is going to be the first book in our publishing business. We plan to come out with many books in the course of time. We have so much content with us.
From where are you going to create funds for the expansion?
We are pumping in Rs.15 odd crores (Rs 150 million). We did a Rights Issue of about two and a half crores (25 million). We can manage with that. Above all, every month, we are growing by around 5 per cent.
