Do you plan to make Chandamama interactive?
Of course. That's why we are going to other platforms too. Chandamama online will be a lot more interactive from March with blogs, comments, message boards, etc. We want to put up at least one story a day. We have a different online team, a much younger team.
Are you planning to enter the radio space too?
We are on World Space radio twice a day where Chandamama stories are rendered. Now, we are talking to various FM stations to have a Chandamama hour during weekends.
We are also launching an interactive Chandamama CD.
Very soon, in February, if not in January, we are also going to provide Chandamama content on mobile platform too in the form of comic strips, wall papers, quizzes, etc. One can have a lot more interactivity on mobile. Once our online and mobile solutions start going, we can reach out to a lot more children.
Another area we want to go into is animated movies because no other magazine has such a huge collection of content. We are already talking to studios. I expect to finalise an agreement by March.
