Murthy is 'businessman of the year'

N R Narayana Murthy, Chairman & Chief Mentor, Infosys Technologies Ltd, on October 14, won the IMC Diamond Jubilee Endowment Trust's 'Eminent businessman of the year' award for his 'outstanding contribution towards enhancing the image of business community by personal service'.

Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, was the chief guest on the occasion and presented the award to the Infosys chief.

Nanik Rupani, President, Indian Merchants' Chamber, was present on the occasion.
