Nokia N79: Cheapest of the lot

September 15, 2008
Approximate price: Around Rs 22,000

The N79 is the cheapest of the three phones and comes with fewer features. Like the N85 it has an FM transmitter and navi-wheel though it doesn't have the OLED screen. Unlike the other two phones it has a simple candybar format with a smaller screen but this can be and advantage since you don't have to worry about the slider getting loose or breaking.

An interesting feature on the N79: the replaceable back covers which lets you change the look of the phone. When you install a cover, the phone will recognise its colour and automatically change the theme on the phone interface.
