The 2008 MTV Video Music Awards were held yesterday at Hollywood's Paramount Studios. The who's who of the music business were in attendance and everyone wanted to make a style statement in their trendy togs -- find out which of them shone on the red carpet and which of them crashed and burned!

We didn't think that a Spiderwoman-meets-Morticia Addams glittery black gown could be carried off by anybody, but then along came popstar Christina Aguilera [Images] and we had to change our minds. Showing off an enviable figure (and much too cleavage, as usual), it's hard to believe XTina delivered a baby a few short months ago.
