On four fashion weeks in India:
Fashion is finding its own foothold in the developing market of India. The occurrence of multiple fashion weeks is part of the evolution of fashion in the fragmented retail industry of India.

On the emerging men's fashion industry:
It's only the beginning. I'm sure Indian men are going to see a lot more choice available. They're going to be spoiled to death with choices, because the market is just about growing. And, hopefully, more male models will be employed for that. Currently, the fashion/modelling industry is dominated by women. But I'm hoping that as men's fashion increases by volume, so too will the ratio of male models to female models.

On pressure to maintain a perfect figure:
I don't look at it as a pressure. It's the need of a particular kind of work. If you're very bulky and your body proportions and body type does not suit many types of outfits, you're not doing justice to a particular designer. I think everyone needs to be aware of their own genetics and body type. So I know that my body can take only this much 'fat' and maintain my body. For example, my friend can eat a lot of rice and junk food, and he still has a six pack. Whereas I have to spend a lot of time on the treadmill, in order to stay lean. But at the same time, I can bulk up easier than him. So it's about being aware of your body type.

On the wearability of clothes, on relationship with designers, etc:
This is perhaps my third fashion week. I've done a fashion week in Delhi. From my point of view, I think the wearability of the clothes is far more prevalent now. I don't get a say with what I wear on the ramp, and that's how it should be. If I don't feel comfortable, that's my limitation as a model. But the designer would probably swap the outift, because if I can't carry it off with confidence, it makes his design look bad.

On his own fashion sense:
