The Lakme Fashion Week opened today with a showing by designer twosome Shantanu & Nikhil. The collection, titled Red Earth, was jazzed up with jewellery from sponsor Gitanjali's Stefan Hafner line. All the ensembles sported classic red and black and were meant to represent global ethnic influences from an Indian perspective.
We start off with this fiery red halterneck, with jewelled motifs and layering in tasteful drapes.
