Ardha Padma Vrkasana (Half lotus tree, squat version)

May 13, 2008
Do as before. Place hands together at chest or overhead. Bend right leg at knee, placing back of right foot high up on left thigh. Hold the pose, breathing comfortably. Now inhale; exhaling, squat lightly at the hips. Hold the pose as long as is comfortable, breathing normally. Release and repeat for left side.

Benefits: Same as before, but the challenge on thigh muscles and legs power the entire lower limb powerfully, toning and shaping them.
