Ardha Padma Vrkasana (Half lotus, tree pose variation)

Place hands together at chest or overhead. Bend right leg at knee, placing back of right foot high up on left thigh. Hold the pose, breathing comfortably. Release and repeat for left side.

Benefits: Same as above; more enhanced. The ankle joint and feet get a super work-out and stretch. In yoga the stretch in this part of the body has spiritual significance, in that it helps control our base emotions.
