Jasmin Bir, an Indian Lakme Fashion Week model who splits time between the US and India also weighed in on Valentine's Day. Here's what she had to say:
Are people scared to approach you, because you're a model?
I think it can be difficult for a man to approach any woman he is attracted to, no matter what the woman's occupation may be.
Is it easy for a model on Valentine's Day? Do you feel anxious, happy or romantic on V-Day?
I am a hopeless romantic -- Valentine's Day is one of my absolute favorite holidays! Is there anything more beautiful than celebrating love? Absolutely not!
Of course I get nervous on Valentine's Day too! It's the day you find out whether or not that special someone truly adores you! And how much!

My happiest Valentine's memory is yet to come!
The most romantic gift I have ever received on Valentine's Day is the most beautiful, lush, enormous stargazer lily bouquet you could ever imagine. The best part was it came with a heartfelt poem written exclusively for me by my admirer; and he sent me jewellery as a symbol of his affection. He even sent me a stuffed animal with earrings attached to the ears from his favorite jewellery store and a matching ring!

My saddest, most embarrassing memory of Valentine's Day happened during high school. Many girls in high school would receive roses, candy and chocolates throughout the day during school. Not to mention endless carnations sent from friends. I took a seat in my class thinking, "Oh God! I am not going to get anything from anyone! Maybe a friend of mine will send me a carnation or two..." (I was single at the time).
Then, all of a sudden a special delivery arrived for someone in class, gorgeous scarlet roses, two dozen of them! I thought "I wonder who that lucky girl is". And then, the delivery boy asked for me! Oh I was so excited! I could not believe it. The beautiful aroma and colour of the flowers made me so happy!
I looked at the card and it said, "To my Pooh Bear, I love you forever! All my love -- Jason." And that's when I knew -- I was definitely not "Pooh Bear" and I did not know Jason! The delivery boy came back just about 10 minutes later after he realised he delivered to the wrong Jasmin! It was quite embarrassing!
