I was on my best frugal behaviour

After getting an eye-full of The Needles, it was time to explore The Needles Park, an amusement park with pretty much something for everyone. For starters, there is this utterly cute teacup ride for kiddies called the Spins & Needles.

Since the multi-coloured sand, which is not so freely available on the beaches anymore, is such a big deal here, the Sand Shop is specially dedicated to interesting artefacts of the same.

Like transparent bunnies, elephants, lighthouses, dogs (paperweights) filled with different colour layers of sand. You can create a customised version as well. But that would cost you more. They sell loose sand too, if you care. I also loved the shell art they had on display, especially jewellery boxes and wall-hangings.

The Alum Bay Glass offers a ten-minute demonstration on glass making. It was nice and informative. It's souvenir shop, however, truly rocked. Only at that time, I was only a few hours old in UK and was on my best frugal behaviour.
