A scenic ferry ride

We took an Isle Of Wight car ferry from Portsmouth to Fishbourne across the Solent. The scenic ferry ride was rather pleasurable in its own right and offered welcome relief after a long and stressful air travel.

Almost everyone on board appeared to be transported elsewhere, wistfully lost in their own thoughts. Playful gusts of the cool breeze coupled with generous views of aquamarine water and pastel blue sky would have that effect on anyone.

This was unlike any other experience, a conclusion that gained validation at the end of my entire UK sojourn.
