Indians are more predisposed to gaining weight on the midsection and the lower body. Even people who are not necessarily overweight usually end up being unhappy with their shape, thanks to the extra padding we all tend to acquire over the years on our backsides.
It is important that you remember a simple rule: if you are predisposed to gaining weight on the lower body, you will always put on fat there first and lose it from there last -- that's how we are made. So even if you don't consider yourself fat, watch what you eat.Too many high fat foods or eatables high in starch, ie potatoes, breads, pasta and rice, if eaten in excess will deposit straight on your hips, simply due to genetics. So make wise choices.
