'Credit cards make online transactions so easy'

April 29, 2008
"It's a boon having a credit card," beams 25-year-old physiotherapist Dr Harsha Sompura.

Interestingly, she doesn't use her ICICI Bank credit card that she owns for the last two years to make purchases. Instead, she prefers using her father's credit card for making purchases.

For Harsha, a credit card is a handy payment tool especially when you don't have enough cash on you and you get that urge to splurge.

"Say you are surfing the net and you like something. You can use your credit card to buy things online." Credit cards make online transactions so easy, she adds. But isn't she afraid of online data thefts when she keys in the 16-digit credit card number.

"I am yet to face such a thing," she quips. Grill her for something that she hates about her credit card and your efforts will bore no fruits. She belongs to a category that does not have any complaints against their credit card company for whatever reasons.
