Promoting the breed

The Chetak Horse Society of India, headed by Raja Narinder Singh of Mewar has, since 1992, been organising the Horse Fair in Haldighati every year.

Airfare for Rs 599 and less!

The aim of this horse fair is to preserve, promulgate and promote the Marwari breed of horses in India and abroad.

Since 2006 this fair is being organized on a larger scale by the department of tourism and the district administration, Rajsamand. It attracts tourists and stud farm owners alike.
