Maravanthe: A quiet beach getaway
You can go boating on the river, which was just two feet deep when we were there.
We actually stepped off the boat in the middle of the river and walked in the water!

Snorkelling and other water activities are organised by the resort, provided there are enough people. Other recreational activities at the resort include table tennis, a swing for kids, cricket and beach volleyball. Overall, our experience was great.
A standard room in the resort is Rs 1,000 per night in season time, and Rs 680 during off season.
Other places to visit around Maravanthe are Kollur and Murudeshwara.
