We alighted from our vehicle to observe the beauty of the place and to take photographs. Nature had more to offer to us. In contrast to the misty weather of the day before, we were looking at a day full of bright sunlight. The mountain peaks, sparsely covered in snow, against the deep blue sky and colourful flowers looked marvellous. In winter, snow lights up the place and in summer the rich variety of flowers provides the beauty.
Another big attraction was the huge waterfall at Nuranang. To view it we had to drive a few kilometres down a hilly road. The flowing water of the falls mingled with a river and created a wonderful scene.
Tawang, which is also called the hidden paradise, is the second highest town in the country after Leh. It has beautiful lakes like Sangester Tso and Pankang Teng Tso, deep gorges, a 350-year-old monastery and wonderful snow-capped mountain ranges.
