Once you start your own business you can do what you want to, when you want to. What you think is right for the business is the final word for implementation.
There are pros and cons to this though. You will gladly accept the accolades that success brings your way, but remember that you are solely accountable for any loss that your start up encounters.
Most likely, you will have a team of people working with you. But bear in mind, that they are employees, just like you were in your earlier job. The onus is now upon you to keep them motivated and get the best out of them.
