It was already 5 pm. We had to find a place for a night halt.
Ajay and I scouted ahead and came to a huge grassland around 2 kms away. The grass had dried. A tall hill formed the backdrop. The setting sun cast a golden light on the hill and the grass -- it was a picture perfect for a wallpaper.
We walked a little further, crossed a stream where we met another group of trekkers. They told us that there were two Lobo houses and that they were living in one of them. With their directions we reached the other Lobo house across a large stretch of fields.
But, to our dismay, it was in ruins!
I was sure if we spent the night here we would share it with snakes. Not a pleasing thought!
