Raja's Seat, in the picture (1 kilometre): A beautiful garden offering a breathtaking view of Coorg. Don't miss the sunrise from this point. History has it that the kings would sit here by sunrise, staring out at their kingdom below.
Nagarhole National Park (98 kilometres): This sanctuary park houses wild animals, including many rare and endangered species. It has a beautiful landscape with lush vegetation and rivers snaking through. The best time to visit is between October and April, although the sanctuary is open throughout the year. Visitors can stay at forest rest houses or the Kabini Jungle Lodge.
